Merry Christmas Eve Eve Eve, y’all! (That can be a thing, right?)
All of the presents are wrapped, the house is clean (for now), the grocery shopping is done, and I am officially signing off for the season to enjoy some much needed family time. Don’t ask me how I got everything checked off of the to-do list with 2 days to spare because I really have no idea. It’s a Christmas miracle!
These last couple of evenings before Christmas Day are my absolute favorite of the whole year… when the house is warm and glowing and filled with quiet anticipation for what’s to come. I just want to bottle it up and hold onto it forever.

So I’m handing you a virtual cup of hot chocolate to walk around and enjoy the candlelight with me. I’m joining in again this year with my sweet friend Rachel from Maison de Pax and a group of talented blogger friends for the 2017 Christmas Nights Tour. If you’re visiting from Jen’s beautiful home at Stylehouse Interiors, welcome!
I hope this tour leaves you feeling the true spirit of Christmas, when all is still and you can reflect in the quiet moments snuggled up with your loved ones by the Christmas tree.
I stayed up a little later than Robert and Olivia, all snug in their beds, to enjoy the pretty glow.
I’m not the world’s greatest photographer, by any means, and nighttime shooting is a major challenge, but having an excuse to quietly hum along to Silent Night and thank God for this season and this incredible year isn’t a bad night’s work.
So I won’t do a lot of chatting in this post, like a normally do. Instead, I hope you’re inspired by simply walking through our rooms in the candlelight to enjoy the season as we celebrate the greatest gift the world has ever known.
(I’ve included some affiliate links to sources too, if you want to know where to find any of the items in our home.)
