Iiiiii’m dreamiiiiing of a whiiiiiiiite Christmaaaaaaas… oh, that’s right. I live in South Carolina and we get enough snow to make a footprint for 5 whole minutes in February.
But I’ll be dreaming just the same right here.
Ever since this Christmas season started, I’ve shared bits and pieces of our house all done up- our entryway, the dining room, the living room, the playroom. I think I’ve exceeded my personal record of twinkle lights and greenery (which is probably the best kind of record to have).
Today, I’m joining up with Krista from The Happy Housie and a bunch of sweet blogger friends for the All Through the House Tour.
This time, I ventured upstairs to snap a few shots of our bedrooms since this is the first year I’ve been able to decorate our master bedroom after we gave it a big makeover a few months ago.
Downstairs, I’ve had lots of fun incorporating pops of red, but I thought sticking to neutrals and metallics would be more calming for a frosty white bedroom.
While we were at the tree lot picking out our fresh living room tree this year, I couldn’t resist this fresh evergreen wreath that has made our entire bedroom smell like heaven.
Robert is like a little kid around Christmas and takes a good whiff every time he walks into the master bathroom. Haha!

“Pat” the Deer is super fly with his fancy scarf I grabbed from our closet. I’m very fond of this little guy since he is our reminder of our modern lodge hotel room from our honeymoon in the mountains of Asheville, NC.
I swapped out our cotton throw pillows for these faux fur and sweater pillows to add a bit more winter coziness in here. I love that they’re still neutral, so I can keep them there long past Christmas on into January if I want.
I attached some flocked garland and string lights around the headboard while I was at it.

This faux fur blanket is Robert’s absolute favorite. Last Christmas, he kept stealing it from our entryway, so I didn’t even fight it this year.
On our nightstands, I swapped out our summery sage plants for these mini twig trees and a couple of mercury glass votives.

And across the room on our dresser, I had some fun with the metallics.
I think this big lantern has ended up in 4 different rooms in the past 2 months now. It’s my absolute favorite!
A couple of years ago, I found some of these silver glass candle holders at the thrift store (can you believe it?!), so I picked up a couple more gold and silver glass ones Kirkland’s to arrange on a stack of wood slices.
My talented blogger friend Laura from The Turquoise Home created this free printable, and it seemed perfect to frame in our bedroom.
I discovered this metallic magnolia leaf wreath the other week too and decided it would be great for placing on our front door later after the Christmas wreath comes down. I love that it can really be used year-round.
I stole this angel wing ornament from our tree as a little accent, stuck it on top of my DIY painted books, and voila. Easy and elegant.
I’ve been working on an accent chair for the corner of our bedroom too, but before I upholstered the seat on this thrifted one I found and painted, I stuck this little tree in it. Total accident but I kind of love it!

With the glow of the string lights and the flickering of the candles, the light practically dances in the reflection of our big mirror. It’s like a dream in here at twilight.
In a couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing a candlelight night tour in here, and I wish my camera could do these pretty lights justice.
Down the hall in Olivia’s room, I gave her a hint of Christmas too, without the candles of course. I always incorporate a little bit of The Nutcracker for her in here since her bedroom has lots of ballerina decor.
I placed this simple tabletop white tree on her vanity along with vintage ornaments I had on my own bedroom tree when I was a little girl. It makes me melt to see my things passed down to her.

I used to collect these little nutcrackers when I danced in The Nutcracker every year. My mom and dad always had them in my bouquet that they gave me at the end of each year’s performance.
I absolutely cannot wait for the morning when that little bed head jumps out of these covers to bounce down the stairs and see what Santa Claus brought her. Every single year gets better and better with our sweet girl.
