Soda Crate Hot Cocoa Bar & Free Printable Sign

It’s about this time every year when I plan to do it all.

To have all of our family’s Christmas shopping done by Thanksgiving, to bake cookies for our town’s firefighters and police officers, to adopt as many Angel Tree kids as possible, to have our home completely scrubbed clean and organized before company arrives, to pack 10 Operation Christmas Child boxes, to decorate our house so brightly Clark Griswold himself would be jealous..

And somehow I always end up rushing around at the last second.  But hey, I’ve got a hot cocoa bar finished, so there’s that.

Because really… how can you accomplish a huge to-do list like that without a LOOOOOOT of chocolate?

Or at least that’s my philosophy.

To kick off the holiday planning a little early, I’m so happy to be joining Kristen from Ella Claire Inspired for this year’s Christmas printable tour.  I’m sharing a free download of this cute cocoa bar sign at the end of this post.

I always love parking our vintage Coca-Cola soda crate (from the thrift store, where else?) in the corner of our kitchen to set up a hot cocoa bar to enjoy on cold nights.

I just grab some random jars, fill them up with cocoa mix, marshmallows, crushed peppermint, chocolate chips, and sprinkles, tie a little baker’s twine around them, and it’s instantly festive.

It’s finally getting chilly around here!  I’m so ready to snuggle up by the twinkle of the tree lights and watch Christmas movies with my little family.  And chug chocolate. (If you’re a Christmas movie quote fan, you can download my printable set of funny one-liners here.)
