Favorite Amazon Prime Day Deals 2018

Are you totally sick of hearing about Amazon Prime Day?  It’s a love/hate relationship over here for me.

I really wasn’t going to write a post highlighting all of the deals, but then I got sucked into the black hole of temptation and couldn’t help myself.

And I figured since I’ve already given in and filled up my cart with a few favorites, I might as well share some of the best deals that caught my eye with you guys, if you’re in shopping mode today too.

There are SO many good ones.  And a lot of these we already own and love (the rest will probably be arriving at our doorstep this week and then I’ll have to bribe the UPS guy to hide them all… maybe slightly kidding… but seriously, considering it).

1. Hard Drive Backup – $89.99 (was $122.99)

If you’re a blogger or a photographer, this is definitely a must-have to protect your hard work.

2. RoboVac–  $159.99 (was $249.99) 

I’ve been DYING to get one of these!  This smart vacuum has 4.5 stars and is rated by 2,991 reviews. Totally sold on this one.

3. Dewalt Tool Combo Kit– $379 (was $629)

If you’re new to DIY, I highly suggest this tool set.  We used mostly just the tools in this set for our first couple of years of home improvement, and they served us very well for all kinds of jobs. 

4. Blue Geometric Rug– $279.30 (was $399.00)

This rug is so cute! It would be adorable in a playroom or little boy’s room, but if your style is modern, it could definitely work in a main living space too. 

5. Mirror– $48.99 (was $69.99)

I love the shape of this mirror along with the weathered frame detail.  A pair of them would look great for replacing a builder grade mirror in a master bathroom or hanging above nightstands on either side of a bed to add extra light in a master bedroom. Or above an entryway table? 

6. Hairpin Desk– $174 (was $249.00)

If you don’t have a large office but need a small desk in a nook for paying bills or a place for kids to do homework, this one is a great size. Plus, it has cubbies for storage.  I’m diggin’ the metal leg detail.  

7. Smart Plug Outlets–

We just recently transitioned to a smart home, so these smart plugs are definitely going in my cart to sync to our Google Home and make turning on/off components throughout our house really easy. 

8. Hand Held Fabric Steamer–

I use this steamer all the time on our slipcovers for our sofa, armchairs, and dining chairs.  But it comes in handy for pressing clothes too when I don’t feel like lugging out the giant ironing board. 

9. Duvet Insert– $44.70 (was $59.60)

We love this down alternative duvet insert to keep our bed cozy soft year-round.  I normally just top it with a pretty coverlet quilt in summer, and in winter I stuff it into a soft flannel duvet cover for extra warmth. 

10. Tote Bag–  $37.59 (was $49.99)

This bag is so cute for a weekend getaway!  And it’s unisex so Robert can use it too.  

11. String Lights– $12.53 (was $15.99)

We have these string lights on our back porch and they add so much warmth and ambience in the evenings.  It’s amazing how much oomph just one strand can add to an outdoor space. 

12. Makeup Brushes– $15.74 (was $20.99)

I desperately needed a fresh set of makeup brushes.  I love that these come with a pretty case to store them in. 

13. Mattress Topper–

I like adding a squishy mattress topper to an overly firm mattress.  This one has excellent reviews. 

14. Food Containers–

We can never have enough of these for lunches, leftovers, and meal prepping. 

15. Sconces– $34.39 (was $45.99)

That’s for a pair!  They’d be so great in a dark hallway or on either side of a bed that’s limited on space or above a piece of art or attached to a bookcase.  They’re seriously so versatile.  And you can use the magic light trick to make them easy to install without electrical work. 

16. Wide Angle Lens– $239.96 (was $348.99)

This is a great lens for wide angle shots if you’re wanting to photograph rooms inside of your house.  

17. Screwdriving/Drilling Set– $34.99 (was $49.99)

We have this set and constantly use it for every single project we do.  

18. White Dinnerware Set– 20% off

You can never go wrong with white china.  I use our set year-round.  And these from Mikasa are a steal!

19. Glider– $429.99 (was $499.99)

The glider we want for the nursery is on sale!  You better believe I bought this baby. Eek!

20. Schlage Touchscreen Deadbolt– 20% off

We have one of these on our exterior doors and love that our close family members can get in with just a numeric code.  (And that I don’t have to worry about locking myself out of the house… definitely done that before.) 

21. Ceiling Fan–

How cool is this fan?! I love the industrial/farmhouse vibe going on.
