Simple Autumn Tea Towel Art

Happy Monday, friends!  I haven’t said it in a while, but thank you so much for stopping in to this little blog of mine.  It truly means so much to me to read all of your comments and sweet messages each day.  Even though I’ve been running around like a crazy person trying to balance our long list of projects in the house and taking some time to soak up as much family time with Robert and Olivia as I can, I want you to know I’m so grateful for you.

Autumn always gets me extra sentimental when I really start thinking about everything and everyone we’ve been blessed with.  Pulling out all of the harvest golds, oranges, and burgundies from the decor storage bins to get the house all cozy for the season makes me even more eager to snuggle up with my little family once the weather turns chilly.

I know that’s a lot of feels for this one little tea towel to hold…

I found this autumn kitchen towel (affiliate link) for $5 the other day and thought how cute it would be framed on our wall in our breakfast nook.

It’s one of my favorite things to do, to just get a tea towel or a calendar page or an engineer print or pretty book pages or whatever jumps out and says, “frame me!”  Instant art.

So I ironed out the wrinkles, stuck this one in a poster frame, and called it a day.  Somehow, between this, the fall botanical gallery wall, and our honeymoon art, we’ve been all about the wall bling lately.

We have this one wall between our garage door and laundry room door that I always love switching out for the seasons.  (Since we retired our summer American flag the other day.)

This space is totally wind0w-less, so it’s always our little rotating decor spot where I get to play around with the wall decor.  The garage door is the one we use the most in this house, so I love that we have this cozy space to greet us when we walk in and out each day.

I’ll be sharing the rest of our fall tour later on this week. (Here’s the fall tour in our old house last year.)  I tell myself every year that I’m going to keep it simple and understated, and then somehow, I always get carried away.  #storyofmylife
