It’s like Christmas morning, y’all! Only… it’s a random Wednesday. And it’s Pumpkin Spice season. Whatever, you know what I mean.
Fall Printable Day is a big deal in my world. Like Pretzel Day at Dunder Mifflin Scranton. With sprinkles and caramel and chocolate on top.
Every year I join up with Kristen from Ella Claire Inspired and an insanely talented group of bloggers to share some free fall printables we’ve whipped up to decorate our houses.
This past summer, I shared our botany art print gallery wall. But I figured now was a good time for an autumnal update.
(Some affiliate links are provided below.)
Every so often, I search for public domain images (there are always a slew of antique/vintage ones out there scanned from old books), and these six had the best ambers and golds and apricots and plums and garnets any PSL lovin’ girl could ever ask for.
So I uploaded my six little files to Staples to print onto 18″x24″ colored engineer prints. I had to trim them down a bit to fit my 16″x20″ frames. (You would never believe these frames were actually $10 plastic poster frames, huh?)
You can print one or two of them, or all six in a gallery wall. Or you can leave the paper unframed and hot glue some stained 1×1 wood strips to the top and bottom to create some vintage hanging art.

If you’re already a subscriber, the link for the direct download is already in your inbox and in the printable library.
If you do end up hanging some fall botanical art though, I have to warn you, “If you give a mouse a cookie” syndrome soon follows. Because then, you’ll want to swap out your pillows, drape cozy knit throws all over the place, and stick pumpkins in every single corner and crevice you can find in your house. It’s a sickness, isn’t it? Can’t help it.
So I ended up decorating our $35 Craigslist bench with two pillows I scored at HomeGoods, pulled out this pair of black lanterns that I seem to use all the time, no matter what season it is, and stuffed some pumpkins and faux greenery in a basket nestled beside the ones that store our shoes.
Some of those pumpkins end up getting used as bowling balls in our living room though, thanks to Olivia. #LetThemBeLittle #AndBowlWithPlasticPumpkins
So now this one little spot is all cozy just in time for this cold snap that seems to be lingering around a while. (Translation: Here in the Carolinas, “cold snap” in September means 60 degrees. Gasp! How will we survive in this arctic weather?)
Can I confess one last thing? When I found these 6 autumn botany art images, I glanced at that all green and yellow one thinking they were different species of green and yellow gourds. Then, after I printed them and merrily hung them up and took pictures of them all proud of myself, I realized. Nope! Those are melons. Lovely summery melons. I didn’t even realize until I looked at the tiny description written in Latin. (Me no speak that language so…)
But they LOOK like gourds, right?! In my mind, that’s what they are anyway. We’ll pretend.
If you want to snag any of the decorating sources I used for yourself, here’s a list of them (or similar ones):
- Blue/orange/gold pillow (this one and this one are similar- mine was a $20 HomeGoods find)
- Boho knit pillow
- Cream knit pillow
- Cream knit throw blanket
- Water hyacinth basket
- Water hyacinth tray
- 16×20 wall frames
- Large black lantern
- Small black lantern
- Faux pumpkins
- (And I wish I could find a bench even close to ours but I still haven’t had any luck. Some furniture company really needs to get on that.)
