The Best Tile for a Small Budget

The Best Tile for a Small Budget | blesserhouse.com - A round-up shopping guide with 25+ of the best expensive-looking textured and patterned tile for a small budget, all for under $5 per square foot.

In case you haven’t noticed over on Instagram Stories, we’ve had an interesting situation happening with our powder room floor lately.  As in jackhammering said floor to rip up old tile and discovering our powder room used to be a back porch back in the ’60s.  And then ripping out layers of concrete right down to our crawl space.

“Owning an old house will be fun, they said.” (Okay okay, it really isn’t that bad.)  Robert and I just can’t help but laugh, and maybe freak out a little bit, at all of these surprises.

So what used to look like this…

We definitely don’t want to go stumbling into this bathroom in the middle of the night.  It has to get worse before it gets better sometimes, right?

So while we have lots of progress happening in this space right now, I thought I would share some of my absolute favorite tiles for a small budget, all for less than $5 per square foot.  You know… if you have a bathroom floor that isn’t actually a giant black hole.

We’ll be going the textured tile route in our powder room (which I can’t wait to show you!), but those patterned tiles have me all weak in the knees and might have to end up in some other room of the house one day.  Do you have a favorite?  That distressed blue Moroccan tile is calling my name!
